Providing day to day administrative support within the finance team. This role reports to the Senior Accounts Payable Assistant and is responsible for processing invoices within the company., Processing high volume of invoices per month Entering all non-stock invoices Assisting with stock invoices where required (3-way matching system) Setting up vendors on our Finance system and carrying out bank verification duties Sorting and distributing incoming mail Statement reconciliation - following up with suppliers on variances in Navision Preparing weekly payment runs Assisting with month-end close Responding to all vendor and stakeholder enquiries Management of the payables inbox Maintaining aged creditor reports Preparing and uploading journals onto Navision Assisting other areas of the department when required.
Eg assisting on the store bank reconciliation. Performing adhoc projects as necessary Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Navision ideal, but not essential Previous experience within a finance team would be desirable as well as an understanding of the retail environment Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail Excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Must be adaptable, flexible and a team player Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team You must demonstrate the right to work in the UK in order to apply for this role.
