This is what you can achieve In your role, you work directly on the Swiss Air Force fighter jets and primarily take on the following tasks: Maintenance & Servicing: Carrying out scheduled maintenance intervals including replacement & testing of systems Repairs & Fault Finding: Analysing error messages, fault-finding processes and structural repairs Modification and Inspection Orders: Visual and functional checks after each flight (aircraft and system condition) Work documentation and quality management Attending internal training courses and sessions What you bring with you Completed vocational training (EFZ) in the mechanical field, e.g.

as a polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder, vehicle mechanic, diagnostician or comparable Strong technical skills Conversational English skills (level B1/B2) desired (for Payerne, additional French skills are an advantage) High commitment and flexibility Resilient personality with team player qualities, strong sense of responsibility / safety awareness and precise and reliable working methods Swiss citizenship (required due to the nature of the role) Salary and benefits Can you repair a Ferrari engine faster than the police allow?
