Cardiac Anesthesiology Opportunity – Albany, NY Quick Screening Snapshot Location: Albany, New York Position Type: Full-time, employed cardiac anesthesiologist Practice: Established private group covering two hospital campuses Hospitals Covered:  Albany and Troy Operating Rooms: 30 Schedule: Variable shifts — 8, 10, or 12 hours Call: 1:5 rotation; first call every 8th night; no second call Case Volume: 6–8 cardiac cases per day Patient Demographic: Primarily adult and geriatric; some pediatric cases Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology Must be ECHO Board Certified and/or completed a Cardiac Fellowship Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waivers not accepted No locum candidates No lapsed Board Certification accepted Will NOT supervise CRNAs Clinical Role Highlights Provide anesthesia for cardiac surgeries (CABG, valve replacements, complex cardiac cases) and vascular cases Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, nursing, and healthcare teams Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative cardiac patient care Contribute to protocol development and practice improvements No OB or trauma anesthesia cases Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary $100,000 sign-on bonus Relocation allowance (reimbursement-based, distance-dependent) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid malpractice including tail coverage CME time and expense allowance Paid time off Retirement savings program RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
