The successful candidate will support analytical characterization and dissolution testing of oral solid dosage forms and related drug substances.

This early-career role is well suited to an individual who enjoys laboratory work, demonstrates scientific curiosity, and can contribute to method development, experimental execution, data analysis, and technical documentation under appropriate scientific guidance. Activities may include both development and regulated laboratory work and will be performed in accordance with applicable procedures, cGMP requirements, data-integrity principles, and environmental, health, and safety standards.

## How You’ll Spend Your Day * Perform dissolution testing and analytical characterization of drug substances and drug products, with emphasis on oral solid dosage forms. * Execute dissolution and related analytical method-development, optimization, feasibility, and troubleshooting studies using approved study plans or protocols, as applicable. * Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, dissolution instrumentation, and other relevant laboratory technologies.

* Execute laboratory experiments under appropriate scientific guidance and evaluate the effects of formulation, material, and manufacturing-process variables on product performance. * Analyze, interpret, trend, and summarize experimental data; prepare clear tables, figures, presentations, and basic scientifically justified conclusions. * Maintain complete, accurate, attributable, and contemporaneous laboratory records, including notebooks, worksheets, electronic data, and supporting documentation.

* Support data review and the investigation and resolution of method, instrument, or testing issues; document observations and escalate concerns appropriately. * Perform routine instrument checks and support instrument maintenance, as assigned. * Conduct laboratory work safely and in accordance with applicable procedures, cGMP requirements, data-integrity principles, and environmental, health, and safety standards.

* Develop proficiency in relevant scientific principles, analytical techniques, laboratory software, and regulatory expectations through training and practical application. ## Your Skills and Experience * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related scientific discipline. * Bachelor’s degree with at least three (3) years of relevant pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience, or a master’s degree with relevant laboratory experience.

* Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and basic principles relevant to oral solid dosage forms. * Ability to analyze and interpret experimental data, identify trends, and communicate scientifically sound conclusions. * Ability to organize and prioritize multiple laboratory activities, work independently within assigned responsibilities, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail, scientific accuracy, and documentation quality. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ## Also Good to Have * Hands-on experience with dissolution testing using USP Apparatus I, II, III, or IV. * Experience with fiber
