The Apprentice Electrician will undertake development activities and formal training with the aim of becoming a qualified Electrician. This role tasks you to with Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in industrial, commercial and residential environments. We provide an excellent opportunity for you to gain crucial experience while developing alongside our experienced and professional electrical team.
You will learn how to: Carry out electrical installations and repairs to the current Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) wiring requirements and BS 7671 Work from detailed electrical specifications, design drawings and circuit diagrams Test and inspect electrical installations to current IEE requirements Work with a wide range of electrical installations and specialist equipment such as fire Alarms, emergency lighting and controls, etc., The completion of a NVQ Level 3 Installations and Maintenance Electrician qualification with further opportunities to obtain additional qualifications in the future if desired.
