Responsibilities The Area Operations Manager will oversee the operations for multiple locations throughout the assigned area of the US.

The candidate will coordinate all aspects of area operations, including management of personnel, equipment, contracts, and budgets, as well as, communicating with senior management across the region. The ideal candidate will be able to perform these duties satisfactorily. Work with Regional Operations Director, Area Director, and Project Management staff  within the Area to establish operational plans and staffing levels to develop offices capable of performing multiple large-scale projects Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency Oversee QA/QC procedures and compliance by production staff Review performance data (financial, budgets and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels Monitor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential Assist with developing and maintaining positive client relationships Serves as Company representative at all levels of operations Other duties as assigned Qualifications 10+ years of progressive surveying and management experience Demonstrated leadership skills to manage operations and staffing for a multi-location Area Successful experience in evaluating and managing the financial performance of professional services operations Successful experience in contract negotiations, budgets, and fee estimates Excellent written and verbal communication skills Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements Professional Land Surveyor license and or Professional Engineering License preferred Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
