Job Description Within the Tax Office of the Jura-Nord Vaudois and Broye-Vully districts, you will join a dynamic team and participate in the taxation of taxpayers. A key activity where you will be responsible for checking tax returns and issuing tax decisions for individuals. Taxation is a complex and diverse field, constantly evolving especially due to legislative changes. Therefore, in this role of assessor , we offer recognised ongoing training in the tax field which provides opportunities for advancement within our administration.
Responsibilities Ensure the control activities of individual tax returns. Check income and wealth elements. Verify the validity of deductions claimed by the taxpayer. Participate in interviews with the taxpayer or their representative. Issue tax decisions. Handle first-instance appeals. Provide service to taxpayers at the counter or by phone. Inform users about taxation in general, in writing or orally.
Qualifications Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification. Two years’ professional experience in taxation, accounting or finance. Good analytical skills and comfortable with social interactions. Strong desire to learn and develop in the field of taxation. Disclosure of any criminal record is required for this position.
