Please log into your MySelf account for further instructions on how to apply as an internal candidate. *Fusion Assets, NLP LLP, and Routes to Work NLC11 £47,484 - £52,252 Based at the Civic Centre, Motherwell within the Assets & Procurement's Operational Property Section, you will supervise a small team whose purpose is the continual development of asset management planning for North Lanarkshire Council's property portfolio through the development of investment strategies and plans.

You will also be responsible for programming the delivery of the respective capital investment programme and the day-day budgetary management of the Council's office accommodation portfolio. To succeed in this role, you will be self disciplined and motivated with an analytical approach to thinking and will have a Degree/SVQ Level 4 qualification, HND or equivalent, in a relevant discipline. Significant post qualification experience in an Asset Management environment is essential including experience in managing an extensive and varied workload and of interpreting data to provide accurate reports.

Knowledge of legislation relating to the use of buildings/premises and the application of asset management techniques in investment planning is essential. In addition, you should have knowledge of developing and maintaining asset policies and procedures and also be able to demonstrate your experience in this area. You should have a proven ability to manage capital and revenue budgets and the ability to engage effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders and both internal and external customers.

You must have a working knowledge of MS office application software. Membership of a professional body, knowledge of Local Authority practices & procedures and experience of asset management systems would be desirable.
