Assistant Janitors cover all janitorial duties along with cleaning and school crossing patrols as required at, Undertaking prescribed cleaning procedures as directed in various establishments and ensuring all bodily fluid/spillages are dealt with in accordance with Service guidelines. Ensuring that educational establishments and grounds are opened at prescribed times, and that they are secure at the end of the working day.
Co-operating with all appropriate personnel and agencies in maintaining the security of the premises. A willingness to complete additional training as required. Responding to emergency callouts in accordance with established procedures, including attending at the location, contacting appropriate authorities, inspecting for damage and theft, effecting repair and where necessary, liaising with contractors' / emergency services on site.
Assistant Janitor - 22.5 hours per week, this post requires working split shifts Monday to Friday 7:30am to 10:00am and 2:30pm to 4:30pm, 52-week contract You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 to £26,786.83 pro rata and annualised pay and have access to a range of benefits, including: £13.64 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is every 4 weeks Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).
