We are a team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working closely with the multidisciplinary team to prevent further deterioration in patients' physical functioning and wellbeing. We cover the areas of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble., Your role will be to support the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists within intermediate care including undertaking non-complex assessments and carrying out treatment plans under the direction of the therapists.
We are looking for a flexible Assistant Practitioner/Technical Instructor, who is able to work across a range of settings and has experience working to support Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy interventions within intermediate care. The role involves working with patients in short term beds, at a dementia care unit located in Leyland and in patients' own homes. You will require the ability to travel to carry out home visits.
