We are seeking candidates who can expand our course offerings in Francophone Africa and who have a secondary specialization in one or more of the following areas: disability studies, environmental studies, immigration and diasporic studies, and/or cinema studies. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching diverse undergraduate students in an interdisciplinary, liberal arts context.

The teaching load is four courses annually, and faculty are expected to teach two language classes and two upper-level courses in their area of specialization. We seek applicants who are interested in working in a cooperative and collaborative teaching environment and who are strongly committed to liberal arts education and excellence in scholarship.
