About   the   Opportunity     WinnCompanies   is seeking an   Assistant Property Manager   to join our team at Woodland Hills,  a 176-unit unit affordable housing community  located  in  Torrington, CT. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in the day-to-day   property management operations   of the community, including   leasing, resident relations, rent collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and property administration .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in   multifamily housing and property management . Please note that the pay range for this position is $23.00  -  $29.00 per hour, depending on experience. A dditionally, the selected candidate will typically work: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities:     Support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential community, ensuring excellent resident service and operational efficiency.

Assist   with leasing activities, including apartment tours, application processing, recertifications, and lease renewals. Monitor rent collections, post payments, enforce collection policies, and   assist   with delinquency management. Respond to resident concerns and help   maintain   positive resident relations and customer satisfaction. Prepare financial reports, resident correspondence, recertification notices, and other property documentation.

Process   purchase   orders, invoices, and accounts payable transactions. Assist   with property operations, financial administration, and occupancy-related activities. Serve as   acting   Property Manager in the Manager's absence, as needed. Requirements:     High school diploma or GED equivalent. Up to 1 year of experience in property management, leasing, customer service, administrative support, or   a related   field.

Up to 1 year of supervisory, team lead, leadership, or mentoring experience. Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience. Proficiency   with Microsoft Office and web-based business applications. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and grow within the property management industry.

Ability to work effectively with diverse residents, colleagues, and vendors. Preferred Qualifications:     Associate's degree. Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or other property management software. Experience in multifamily housing, affordable housing, HUD, or Section 8 environments. Knowledge of leasing, resident retention, and property operations.
