As an Associate Banker within International Corporate Banking, you will support the Relationship Directors within Funds and Asset Management business . You will support the maintenance and development of relationships across our International Corporate client base within the NBFI - Funds and Asset Management sector. As part of the role, you will be supporting Relationship Directors to proactively deepen client relationships, identifying, and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs.

Working closely with the Relationship Director to create and work towards a balanced commercial plan to grow existing portfolios and support On-Boarding of new customers. Key Responsibilities Support Relationship Directors in managing and developing client relationships across the Funds and Asset Management sector.

Assist in identifying opportunities to deepen client engagement and broaden wallet share. Help deliver banking and financing solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives. Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth client experience. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across product, risk, operations, and support teams. Maintain high standards of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Skills & Experience Corporate Banking experience or knowledge. Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships. Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines. A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills. Understanding of credit principles and client risk assessment.

Experience supporting relationship management teams in a banking environment. Highly Desirable Knowledge of Financial Institutions, Funds, or Asset Management clients. Some experience in corporate lending, transaction banking, or treasury solutions. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills This role is located in London.

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks. Purpose of the role To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs. Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.

Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio. Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank. Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
