Attendance & Pupil Services Assistant

We are currently seeking an Attendance & Pupil Services Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role plays a key part in supporting pupil attendance and wellbeing, helping us ensure every student has the best opportunity to succeed.

Position: Attendance & Pupil Services Assistant Type: Other Support Positions Full driving licence is esssential Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and record pupil attendance daily - Contact parents or guardians regarding absences / home visits - Support pupils with any attendance-related issues - Assist with administrative tasks related to pupil services - Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive attendance habits Skills and Qualifications: - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Basic IT skills including use of email and bromcom - Ability to work well as part of a team - Organised with good attention to detail - Willingness to learn new systems and procedures Values and Attitudes: - A genuine interest in supporting young people's welfare and education - Patience, empathy, and understanding when dealing with pupils and families - Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism at all times - Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
