The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cars, excavators, small trucks, and related mechanical systems. Candidates should have strong hands-on mechanical skills, relevant work experience, and the ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently.
AUTO MECHANIC Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of recent hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining cars, excavators, and small trucks. Proven practical knowledge of automotive and heavy-equipment mechanical repair. Experience diagnosing and repairing engines, mechanical systems, and vehicle components. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform appropriate repairs. TESDA NC II relevant to the position or relevant technical training is required.
At least High School Diploma. Must be able to provide an Employment Certificate (COE) verifying relevant work experience. Must have a valid passport and NBI Clearance as required for deployment. Good knowledge of workshop tools, equipment, and safe repair procedures. Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and willing to follow instructions and workplace procedures. Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical problems in cars, excavators, small trucks, and other assigned vehicles or equipment. Perform inspection and assessment of vehicle and equipment components to identify faults and required repairs. Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical systems.
Repair and maintain automotive and heavy equipment components according to manufacturer specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems when required. Perform engine inspection, servicing, repair, and component replacement. Check and repair braking, steering, suspension, cooling, and fuel systems. Service and maintain excavators and other construction or industrial equipment.
Perform maintenance and repairs on small trucks and commercial vehicles. Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts and components. Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other workshop equipment safely and properly. Conduct testing after repairs to ensure vehicles and equipment are operating safely and correctly. Perform routine oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and other scheduled maintenance.
Inspect vehicles and equipment for potential safety or mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts replaced, and maintenance activities. Report major mechanical defects, additional repair requirements, or safety concerns to the supervisor. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Keep the workshop and assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow occupational health and safety procedures and proper workshop practices.
Perform other automotive, mechanical, and equipment maintenance duties assigned by management.
