Bakery Operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Food Production/Bakery Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Leicestershire This role will be working directly with our client on a temp to perm contract The Job: Working as a Bakery Operative which means you could be working or trained to work in several areas of their factory This can include: mixing and baking cakes, icing cakes and packing the finished products Other duties can include: Follow work instructions to ensure all cakes meet our quality standards Follow the production plan Follow Team Leader/ Manager instructions Minimise waste whilst working Follow H&S guidance Report near misses Follow Good Manufacturing Processes Paperwork completion Clean as you go There are 2 shifts available based on where needed Monday to Friday 6am-3pm Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Both are 40 hours per week with overtime available when production is very busy and applies after 40 hours You will start on National Living Wage but once trained, you will receive an uplift in hourly salary The person: Knowledge of the food industry would be an advantage, but not mandatory Positive, flexible and can-do attitude Hard working All training will be provided Have access to transport as there are no public transport for the early shift start times LEC01 Salary description £12.71 - £13.00 per hour Hours: Fulltime Employment type: Permanent Skills No minimum education is required What we offer Salary: £12.71 to £13.00 Contract: permanent
