To have excellent knowledge surrounding radiographic techniques and procedures as well as broad knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, specifically in the field of Oncology as a speciality. Competent (with annual assessment) in multiple imaging modalities To perform a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images ensuring patients receive a radiation dose as low as reasonably practicable when producing these images.

To provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs. To work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that an efficient service is provided to patients, for example by sharing specialist knowledge and expertise. As a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer in Velindre Radiology, you will have the opportunity to work in a small and friendly department and participate in major imaging modalities including MRI, CT and Digital Radiography. Previous experience at working in MRI or CT and Digital radiography is essential.
