Bartenders at Nomad Diner are more than drink‑makers — they’re hosts, storytellers, and stewards of the guest experience across the entire dining room.
We’re looking for individuals who bring poise, personality, and consistency to every shift. What You’ll Do As a Bartender, you’ll uphold standards of excellence while contributing your unique self to the team. Responsibilities include: Master the Cocktail Compendium , knowing every classic recipe and seasonal feature by heart. Exceptional quality begins with mastery of fundamentals.
Craft cocktails to spec with attention to detail, balance, and presentation — whether behind the bar or tableside. Consistency is the foundation of great hospitality. Support bar prep and mise en place , ensuring syrups, garnishes, juices, and ingredients are stocked, labeled, and ready. We solve problems before they appear. Monitor inventory actively , communicating low counts and stock needs clearly to help control waste and avoid outages.
Learn and executeservice standards , embracing growth, refinement, and continuous improvement. Understand and sell the full menu — food, cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and specials — with confidence and enthusiasm. Engage guests with warmth , creating memorable moments through storytelling, pairing suggestions, and genuine hospitality. Maintain a clean, organized bar , showing up on time and ready to contribute.
Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and managers , prioritizing team success and seamless service. Stay curious and adaptable , embracing new techniques, seasonal changes, and evolving standards. Table Service Responsibilities Bartenders at Nomad Diner also support full table service throughout the shift. This includes: Taking orders at tables Running food and beverages Clearing, resetting, and maintaining table cleanliness Supporting servers during peak periods Ensuring guests receive seamless, consistent hospitality across both bar and dining room At Nomad Diner, bartenders are integral to the entire floor — not just the bar.
