Bartender

Lucky Charlie, the coal-oven pizza tavern from award-winning chef Nino Coniglio (Williamsburg Pizza, Coniglio's Old Fashioned), is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our 15-seat oak bar. We pour classic cocktails and an exclusively Sicilian wine list alongside coal-oven pizza and oven-baked pasta, in a throwback New York atmosphere that stays lively until close — often 4am. Responsibilities Prepare classic cocktails and drinks to spec, with speed and consistency during busy service Guide guests through our Sicilian wine list with confidence and enthusiasm Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Build rapport with regulars and create a welcoming, old-New-York bar experience Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including tabs and closing out checks Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth, timely service Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and serve responsibly Assist with inventory, ordering, and opening/closing bar setup as needed Qualifications Prior bartending experience required, ideally in a high-volume or late-night bar/restaurant Strong classic cocktail knowledge; wine knowledge a big plus TIPS or other responsible alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain one) Comfortable working a fast-paced, late-night environment Personable, guest-focused, and able to keep the bar's energy up all night Availability to work nights and weekends (Wednesday–Sunday, 5pm–4am) What We Offer Competitive hourly wage plus tips Employee meals and dining discounts High-energy bar program in a historic, character-filled space Room to grow with an established, respected restaurant group
