Bartender

The Golden Swan is being reimagined into an elevated neighborhood New York Bistro in the West Village, occupying the former Spotted Pig space at 314 West 11th Street. Under new leadership and part of the Neighborhood Projects group (Yves, Tiny's, Smith & Mills), we're building a serious, well-run bar program. We're looking for an experienced bartender who takes craft seriously and hospitality more so.

You'll be pouring for a discerning West Village crowd, executing a developing cocktail menu with precision, and working a thoughtfully curated wine list. What you'll do Execute our cocktail and wine programs with consistency and speed, across both bar and dining service Deliver warm, polished hospitality at the bar and in support of the dining room Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and compliant station — mise en place, labeling, and side work to standard Guide guests through the menu with genuine knowledge of spirits, wine, and what's in the glass, as well as our food menu Work as part of a tight team through service, and contribute to a professional, low-drama floor What we're looking for Two-plus years bartending in a high-volume or upscale/fine-dining setting Real cocktail fundamentals — technique, consistency, and care under pressure Working BTG wine knowledge and the appetite to keep learning (we'll teach; you show up curious) NYC Food Protection Certificate a plus, or willingness to obtain one Reliable, professional, and genuinely hospitable — the kind of person a regular asks for by name - at our heart we are a neighborhood restaurant built on relationships Availability for evenings and weekends
