Our multidisciplinary team works together to improve access to high-quality behavioral health care while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and clinicians.About the RoleGreat Bay Mental Health, a proud member of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and the Mass General Brigham system, is seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time, 36-hr Behavioral Health Counselor to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice.

This position provides individual and family therapy services to a primarily pediatric population, working with children approximately 4-12 years of age.As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will partner closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care pediatricians, and other behavioral health professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about supporting children and families while practicing in a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities• Provide outpatient individual and family psychotherapy to a pediatric patient population.• Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, family systems therapy, and other age-appropriate treatment modalities.• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate patient care.• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and regulatory standards.• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and clinical collaboration.• Provide education, guidance, and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote positive behavioral health outcomes.• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards of practice.The ideal candidate is a licensed behavioral health clinician with 3-5 years of experience providing outpatient therapy, including experience working with pediatric patients.

They are passionate about supporting children and families through evidence-based, developmentally appropriate care and bringexperience with therapeutic approaches such as play therapy and family systems therapy. This individual thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and enjoys partnering with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, pediatric primary care providers, and other members of the care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health services.
