Are you friendly, hardworking, and customer-focused? We're looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in delivering excellent service to our customers while keeping the branch running smoothly. What You'll Do: Provide first-class service to every customer, in person and over the phone. Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
Loading vehicles on the yard and ensure goods are stored safely. Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-presented. Support with sales by processing transactions, raising paperwork, and forwarding leads. Handle supplier deliveries, checking quality and quantity of goods. Keep the branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised. Great communication and customer service skills.
A positive, can-do attitude with attention to detail. Reliability and flexibility to support across different tasks. Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in retail, trade, or warehouse roles is a plus (but not essential). Forklift licence desirable - training is available. Hours of work: An average of 43.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm. Salary: NMW Interested?
