Division Lead – Nuclear Medicine – New York City Onsite| Permanent | Academic Leadership | Executive Compensation Position Overview A nationally prominent academic Department of Nuclear Medicine is seeking a Division Lead for Nuclear Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and academic leadership across multiple clinical sites in a major New York City borough. Permanent position Onsite only available Senior academic and operational leadership role Integral to institutional missions in clinical excellence, education, and research Leadership & Clinical Scope Lead and expand advanced cardiothoracic and nuclear imaging services across four clinical sites Oversight includes: General and cardiac nuclear medicine SPECT and SPECT-CT PET-CT Theranostics Serve as Authorized User for the medical center, advising on new radiopharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents Active participation in: Interdisciplinary tumor boards Multidisciplinary conferences in collaboration with: Children’s Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center Center for Transplantation Work closely with internal and external partners, including industry leaders and federal agencies Academic & Research Environment Major role in education of medical students, residents, and fellows in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology Division supported by a cutting-edge small animal imaging facility , including: PET/CT SPECT/CT MRI Strong expectation and support for: Peer-reviewed publications Funded research National academic visibility Epic EMR Qualifications MD or DO Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or Nuclear Radiology (ABR/ABNM) Extensive experience in: PET/CT Nuclear cardiology Molecular imaging Theranostics Proven academic track record, including publications and funded research Demonstrated experience in teaching and mentorship Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive executive compensation: $450,000–$500,000 Comprehensive executive benefits package including: Paid malpractice insurance Long-term disability Paid CME 403(b) retirement contributions Additional institutional executive benefits Location & Lifestyle Prominent academic medical center located in a New York City borough Easily accessible via public transit Convenient commute from: Manhattan Westchester County Long Island Northern New Jersey Enjoy all that NYC has to offer: World-class dining and arts Parks and cultural institutions Professional and collegiate sports Nationally top-ranked schools Multiple international airports RecruitWell’s Core Values Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win
