Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly analytical Business Analyst - IT IV (Senior Business Systems Lead) to support the alignment, design, and execution of high-priority IT systems and enterprise application solutions. In this high-visibility strategic role, you will serve as the primary liaison between key business units and technical development teams. Operating across complex, multi-stream technology projects, you will own the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle—translating strategic business needs into functional system specifications, evaluating system architecture, and assisting with code-level comprehension to ensure technical deliverables align with business goals.
You will perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support executive decision-making, optimize operational workflows, and provide daily functional support to elevate system efficiency across high-volume enterprise applications. Duration: 12-Month Contract (10/01/2026 to 09/30/2027, with potential for extension) Advantages Strategic Enterprise Scope: Serve as a core technical liaison bridging executive business stakeholders and IT engineering teams on high-stakes platform initiatives.
12-Month Engagement Stability: Secure a full 1-year consulting contract within a stable, well-funded enterprise technology division. High-Level Financial & System Governance: Drive return-on-investment (ROI) evaluations, cost-benefit modeling, and system design improvements for complex application environments. Cross-Functional Influence: Work across multiple business functions, optimizing operating efficiency and establishing modern systems standards.
Responsibilities Business & Technical Alignment: Work directly with key business stakeholders to translate strategic business objectives into actionable technical solutions, detailed system specifications, and workflow models. Requirements & Systems Design: Lead discovery, elicitation, and design for highly complex business processes, establishing functional requirements for developers and systems architects.
Financial & ROI Analysis: Prepare comprehensive cost-benefit analyses, ROI evaluations, and feasibility studies to guide executive decision-making on enterprise system implementations and platform upgrades. Code-Level Comprehension & Troubleshooting: Utilize a basic understanding of programming languages to read, analyze, and comprehend application code, identifying logic bugs and system constraints during technical discovery.
Project & Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between business units, software developers, and IT leadership to ensure delivered technology meets user expectations and quality gates. Operational Efficiency & Support: Provide daily functional support, analyze complex operational bottlenecks, and perform multi-source research to drive continuous process improvements. Qualifications Professional BSA Experience: 8 to 10+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst / IT Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments.
Technical Code Literacy: Basic knowledge of programming languages with the demonstrated ability to read and comprehend code logic, system dependencies, and basic execution functions. Systems & Process Optimization: Proven ability to analyze complex technical details, solve multi-tiered operational problems, and design innovative systems that boost competitive advantage and operating efficiency.
Project Management & Decision Making: Strong project management discipline with a track record of handling multiple diverse projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical jargon effectively across diverse user levels. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is required.
