Business Analyst/ Manual QA Analyst

Senior QA Analyst (Manual Testing)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced QA Analyst with strong end-to-end manual testing expertise to support complex web-based and integrated applications. This role requires someone who can thoroughly analyze business and system requirements, create comprehensive test plans and test cases, execute testing activities, identify defects, and work closely with development teams through resolution.The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys digging into technical issues, understanding system integrations, and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple interconnected platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scenarios for assigned projects.Create and maintain test cases within ALM Octane or similar test management tools.Perform end-to-end manual functional testing across front-end and back-end systems.Execute UI, API, integration, and database testing activities.Validate data flow and functionality across multiple interconnected applications.Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.Analyze test results and provide clear testing status updates and release readiness reports.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and project teams throughout the SDLC.Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Support test execution reporting and quality metrics reporting.Assist with automation test execution and failure triage when applicable.Required QualificationsStrong experience performing true end-to-end manual testing across complex enterprise applications.Demonstrated experience creating test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.Strong understanding of defect management and root cause analysis.Experience with:Functional TestingUI TestingAPI/Web Services TestingIntegration TestingDatabase TestingSQL (basic query writing and validation)PostmanSOAP UISplunkJIRAALM Octane or similar test management toolsAgile/Scrum methodologiesExperience testing systems involving order management, billing, or complex transactional workflows.Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple integrated systems and identify where failures occur within the application flow.Preferred QualificationsTest automation experience using Selenium or similar automation frameworks.Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD testing processes.Telecommunications, cable, or related industry experience.Desired Soft SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.Ability to confidently explain testing methodologies, findings, and recommendations.Curious mindset with a passion for identifying issues and improving system quality.Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.What You'll Be TestingYou will support a complex ordering workflow consisting of multiple integrated applications and downstream systems.

This includes validating user interactions, API communications, data integrations, and billing-related processes.
