DescriptionOverviewCadrex is seeking CNC Operators at Levels I, II, and III to support manufacturing operations through the setup, operation, monitoring, and optimization of manual and CNC machinery. CNC Operators are responsible for producing high-quality components that meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and production goals. The complexity of machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and programming responsibilities increases with each level based on demonstrated skill, experience, and technical proficiency.Key Responsibilities (All Levels)Operate CNC and manual machines to produce components and assemblies according to specificationsPosition and secure materials and parts using appropriate fixtures, clamps, and fastening devicesOperate hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools as requiredUse precision measuring instruments to verify product quality and dimensional accuracyIdentify material types and ensure proper machine settings are utilizedRecognize worn tooling and perform tooling changes as requiredConduct in-process and final inspections to verify product conformanceReport defective materials, process issues, machine malfunctions, or nonconforming products to supervisionComplete production documentation, inspection records, and related paperwork accurately and timelyMaintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe conditionFollow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standardsOperate material handling and lift equipment as requiredKey Responsibilities (Level I)Operate manual equipment such as saws, mills, and lathes under supervisionAssist with basic CNC machine operation and loading/unloading of partsLearn machine functions, tooling applications, and production processesPerform basic inspections using measuring tools and gaugesMake adjustments to machine operations as directed by supervisors or experienced operatorsSupport production requirements while developing machining knowledge and skillsKey Responsibilities (Level II)Independently operate CNC equipment to manufacture production parts and assembliesPerform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments with minimal supervisionTroubleshoot routine machine and process issues to maintain production flowTroubleshoot routine machine and process issues to maintain production flowMonitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency and qualitySupport continuous improvement efforts and assist in training less experienced operators when neededKey Responsibilities (Level III)Set up and prepare advanced CNC equipment, including tooling selection, fixture setup, and production optimizationDevelop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code and CAM softwarePerform advanced machine setups and complex machining operationsMonitor machine performance and implement adjustments to maximize efficiency, quality, and throughputTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtimeIdentify and implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and enhance productivityMaintain detailed machine setup, production, and quality recordsServe as a technical resource and mentor to Level I and Level II operatorsAssist with training, process development, and operational best practices across the departmentRequirementsPreferred Qualifications (Level I)High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processesMechanical aptitude and interest in CNC machiningAbility to use basic measuring tools and inspection equipmentBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt to changing production requirementsCommitment to workplace safetyPreferred Qualifications (Level II)2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experienceExperience with machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustmentsStrong understanding of machining pr
