To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, licensed, and compassionate physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities.

Opportunity Highlights: Center for Cardiovascular Health : The Center for Cardiovascular Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists.
Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 10 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.
Position Details: This is a predominantly outpatient position. Inpatient responsibilities are limited to rounding coverage on a rotating basis. This position is four days per week. Two days per week at our Federal Way clinic and two days per week at our Auburn clinic. You will be part of a team of 5 cardiologists and 3 APP’s. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Plus call. Call: Weekday, evening and weekend call is shared at a ratio 1:8.
Call involves onsite inpatient rounding at St. Francis Medical Center. Some overnight call required. Nocturnal APP and fellows minimize overnight call.
