Cardiology NP Locum Opportunity – San Francisco, CA ***Willing to license***

Location: San Francisco, California Start Date: August/September 2026 Assignment Length: 23 Weeks Compensation: All-Inclusive Rate Schedule • 3 x 12-hour shifts per week • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM • Day shifts only • Weekend coverage required (typically 2–3 weekends per month) • Rotating holiday coverage Practice Setting • Inpatient Hospital Setting • Non-ICU • Adult patient population Position Overview • Join a collaborative inpatient cardiology team caring for patients with complex medical needs.

• Typical patient census of 6–7 patients per day. • Manage general cardiology patients with concurrent conditions such as: • Heart Failure • Diabetes • Renal Disease • Other complex medical comorbidities Responsibilities • Round daily with the attending physician (attending rotates weekly) • Coordinate patient care throughout the day • Complete consults, progress notes, and discharge summaries • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds • Collaborate with Nursing, Case Management, Social Work, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy teams • Manage new admissions approximately every other day • May provide coverage for post-cardiac procedure services as needed Requirements • Minimum 1 year of inpatient cardiology experience required • Experience managing hospitalized medicine patients required • Strong history-taking and physical examination skills • Proficiency with: • Progress notes • Consult documentation • Discharge summaries • Complex discharge planning Candidates with related experience may also be considered, including: • Cardiac Critical Care • Cardiac Procedure Recovery • Cath Lab Experience • Other relevant inpatient cardiac settings Certifications & Licensure • ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC required • BLS required • ACLS required • California license preferred • Providers requiring California licensure may be considered Support Structure • Dedicated attending physician support during daily rounds • Collaborative multidisciplinary care team • Strong ancillary support services Opportunity Highlights • Competitive all-inclusive compensation package • Prestigious San Francisco practice setting • Collaborative cardiology team environment • Manage complex and diverse cardiology patient populations • Long-term assignment potential Credentialing • Approximately 60–90 days Interested in learning more?
