This role is available due to provider leave and offers the chance to work within a collaborative cardiothoracic surgery team supporting both clinic and inpatient services . The provider will assist with rounding on hospitalized patients and managing clinic visits , ensuring continuity of care for cardiothoracic surgery patients. 👨‍⚕️ Eligible Provider ✔️ Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) ✔️ Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery required ✔️ Board Certification required ✔️ Ability to work in both clinic and inpatient settings 🔎 Key Responsibilities 🫀 Conduct daily inpatient rounds for cardiothoracic surgery patients 🩺 Evaluate and manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients 📋 See and manage clinic patients for cardiothoracic follow-ups 🤝 Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and clinical staff on patient care plans 📊 Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as needed 💻 Document patient care within the facility’s EMR system 🏥 Practice Environment 🏥 Primary Worksite: Clinic and Hospital 📍 Address: 1200 S Columbia Road, Grand Forks, ND 👨‍⚕️ Team Structure: • 2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons • 2 Advanced Practice Providers (1 currently on leave) • RN and LPN clinic support staff 👥 Patient Volume: • 10–14 clinic patients per day • Inpatient rounding responsibilities included 📅 Schedule 📆 Monday – Friday ⏰ 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM 💰 Compensation 💵 Hourly Rate: $240 ⭐ Premium Rate: $315 🌙 Night Call: $410 ⏱ 24-Hour Rate: $1,920 No gratis shifts included.
