This opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative cardiac care team in a hospital-based setting. 📍 Location Clinton Township, Michigan 🏥 Position Overview Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery APP (NP/PA) Practice Setting: Inpatient – Cardiovascular ICU Start Date: As soon as credentialed Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90–120 days Patient Population: Adult ⏰ Schedule 12-hour shifts Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Weekdays and weekends available No call required 🩺 Practice Details Average Patients per Day: 12 APP will work autonomously with supervising physician available Hospital-based CVICU environment EMR: Epic 🔧 Key Responsibilities Manage post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients Provide autonomous care for adult CVICU patients Perform advanced cardiovascular monitoring Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and care teams ✈️ Travel Coverage Flight Hotel Rental car or mileage reimbursement (IRS standard rate) ✅ Requirements Board Certified NP or PA (AANP / NCCPA) Active Michigan license Acute Care trained and certified Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days ⭐ Preferred BLS / ACLS / CALS certifications If you’re interested, I’d be happy to share additional details.
