To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 891731 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,462.54 Job Title Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Location Tampa, FL | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | On-call required Key Responsibilities Perform a high volume of IR procedures (expected 20–30 cases per day per technologist) across 4 procedure rooms equipped with biplane and advanced imaging systems Assist with a wide variety of interventional cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management procedures, and oncology procedures such as Y-90, MAAs, and chemoembolizations Perform and assist with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular, and neurological studies Participate in on-call rotation of approximately 8–10 call days per month, including one Saturday per month; 30-minute response time to arrive at the facility is required (on-call sleep rooms available) Float within the assigned facility as needed to meet operational needs Document patient care and procedure information accurately using Cerner EMR Required Qualifications Active Florida license or Compact license required at time of submission ARRT certification required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of IR/Special Procedures experience; vascular experience required Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures required COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted) Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Cerner EMR Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment, including biplane systems Experience in a Level II Trauma or Level I Pediatric Trauma environment Why Join Us Work in a high-acuity, fast-paced IR environment treating a diverse and complex caseload across a large acute care facility with 615 staffed beds On-call sleep rooms provided on site, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply To Apply for this Job Click Here
