Electrophysiology Laboratory Technician Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves providing critical support in an electrophysiology lab, including assisting in various procedures such as ablations, device implants, and extractions.
The technician will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care and high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities Assist in electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Utilize electrophysiology mapping systems, including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic equipment. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to best practices in laboratory protocols.
Collaborate with nursing staff and charge nurse to support patient care needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have RCIS, RCES, and ARRT certification. 1 year of experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology scrub role is required.
