CBT Therapist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated CBT Therapist to join our growing Mansfield & Ashfield Mental Health Support Team (MHST). Nottinghamshire MHST has grown significantly and now comprises of 6 localities clinical teams working across the county to deliver early intervention and mental health support within education settings. As part of our Mansfield & Ashfield team, you will become a valued member of a well-established team of CBT Therapists, Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), Specialist Practitioners, and wider clinical colleagues who are committed to improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

We are looking for a CBT Therapist to work alongside our EMHPs and Specialist Practitioners to deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Interventions will be provided primarily on a one-to-one basis within educational settings, with some remote delivery where appropriate. The successful candidate will undertake assessments, develop CBT formulations, and provide high-quality therapeutic interventions that support positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families. They will work autonomously in managing a clinical caseload while contributing to a wider multidisciplinary team focused on delivering timely, effective, and accessible mental health support.

They will also contribute to the ongoing development of the service through participation and delivery in clinical supervision and service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
