Within our Community Safety facility, you will provide line management support to the CCTV Monitoring Officer and Response Advisor teams.
You will provide assistance to retailers, partnership agencies and various other stakeholders and undertake duties identifying and reporting faults (including attendance at service meetings) as well as assisting with access and security to the building. You should have a flexible approach to dealing with circumstances of a sensitive nature. Customer service, confidentiality and excellent communication skills are essential for all Supervisors and you should have experience of working as part of a team.
Knowledge of North Lanarkshire geographical area and CCTV systems is essential. You will be required to work in a secure, controlled environment, have the ability to liaise with various council departments and partner organisations. There may be a requirement to cover various areas across North Lanarkshire Council. All candidates will be subject to non-police personnel vetting as part of the pre-employment checks.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain an SIA Licence; this will be arranged shortly after commencement in post. A Disclosure Scotland check will also be carried out in advance of commencement in post. Working pattern for full time position: 37 hours per week - 4 days on (2x dayshift 07:00am - 19:00pm, 2x nightshift - 19:00pm - 07:00am), 4 days off.
