๐ Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care in support of LOGCAP / V2X healthcare operations in the Marshall Islands . ๐ดโจ This role involves delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia services in a remote, austere, and mission-driven environment , supporting surgical and procedural care in collaboration with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare teams.
๐๐ฉบ ๐ Location ๐๏ธ Marshall Islands ๐ Remote / deployed healthcare operations environment ๐๏ธ Role Overview & Environment ๐ฅ Provide anesthesia services in operational / military treatment facility settings ๐ Support surgical and procedural care in austere environments ๐ก๏ธ Work in resource-limited, tropical, high-demand conditions ๐ค Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and medical teams โ๏ธ High independence with strong clinical accountability ๐ Maintain readiness for deployed and contingency operations ๐ Clinical Responsibilities ๐ Administer anesthesia: General anesthesia Regional anesthesia Neuraxial anesthesia Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) ๐ง Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans ๐ Continuously monitor: Vital signs Airway status Physiologic stability during procedures ๐จ Respond to anesthesia emergencies and provide life-saving interventions ๐งพ Maintain complete and accurate anesthesia records ๐ Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities ๐ค Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and perioperative teams ๐ Support anesthesia services in deployed or remote environments ๐ฅ Practice Environment ๐ Deployed / expeditionary healthcare operations ๐ช Military-style treatment facility support ๐ง‍โ๏ธ Interdisciplinary surgical and anesthesia teams โ๏ธ High autonomy clinical decision-making ๐งฐ Resource-variable, mission-critical setting ๐ Requirements ๐ Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia (accredited program required) ๐ BSN from accredited nursing program ๐ชช Active, unrestricted RN license (U.S.
