Prepare and cook dishes per recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, portion control, presentation. Operate kitchen equipment safely per standard procedures. Maintain strict food hygiene, safety, and health regulations. Monitor compliance with company policies for safe, clean, organized kitchen. Ensure café meals meet highest quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness of café fridges, labeling and dating items per procedures.
Monitor inventory and stock rotation to reduce waste. Qualifications & Requirements Chef's diploma/qualification from registered tertiary provider. Experience in food quality management and standardization. Strong focus on quality and sanitation procedures. Excellent physical condition and stamina. Ability to travel and relieve colleagues at other facilities when required. Skills & Attributes Proficient in cooking and baking techniques; knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Strong team player, effective in fast-paced kitchen. Excellent communication skills; committed to high-quality dishes with attention to detail. Clear health, criminal, and credit records; written references required. Working Hours 16.25 shifts per month per roster, 07h00–19h00, Monday–Sunday. Flexibility for standby procedures required. Remuneration Market-related salary based on experience, qualifications, skills.
