To take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Dorothea Unit.

To take the lead for specific areas of professional practice as delegated by the Unit Manager and Lead Chemotherapy Nurse. To deputise for the Unit Manager in their absence. Management of preceptorship of newly qualified staff, return to nursing staff and the mentorship of nursing students and health care support workers.
