Chief Accountant Senwes Ltd. is seeking a Chief Accountant to provide effective financial and technical accounting support to Group Finance. The role involves coordinating the Group's financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate monthly, interim, and annual financial reporting while driving continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the Group's monthly financial reporting and consolidation processes. Coordinate and oversee interim and annual financial reporting. Analyse financial performance and business drivers, identify process and cost-saving opportunities, and implement improvements. Provide technical accounting guidance, monitor changes in accounting standards and legislation, and ensure compliance with IFRS and financial governance practices.
Supervise, develop, and support finance employees. Support the delivery of Group Finance objectives. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: Registered CA(SA) with minimum 2 years' relevant post-articles experience. Experience with Group financial consolidations, financial reporting, preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, and working with auditors. Skills: Financial Reporting and Consolidation, IFRS Technical Accounting, Financial Analysis and Interpretation, Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Case Development, Audit and Financial Governance, Process Improvement and Financial Controls, Leadership and Employee Development, SAP Financial Systems and ERP Reporting, Financial Modelling.
