Chief Financial Officer

Job Description: This position involves: Leading the group's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions Partnering with the executive team on strategic business decisions Managing project profitability, contract costing, cash flow, and working capital Providing financial oversight across multiple operating entities and projects Overseeing treasury, banking relationships, guarantees, and financial risk management Ensuring compliance with IFRS, taxation, audits, and corporate governance requirements Supporting commercial decision-making on tenders, contracts, major projects, and investments Strengthening financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls Travelling regularly to regional operations as required Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management or executive finance role Proven experience within the construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, mining, or contracting environment Strong understanding of project accounting, contract costing, revenue recognition, and project profitability Experience managing multi-site or multi-entity operations Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence operational and strategic decisions Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills Qualification: CA (SA) OR CIMA qualified For more information connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our financial recruitment vacancies.
