As a Children's Residential Practitioner at Strut House you will support children and young people in experiencing overnight short breaks away from home. Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities? At Strut House, we're looking for caring, energetic, and child-focused individuals to join our dedicated team as a Children's Residential Practitioner.

We are looking for one full time Children's Residential Practitioner., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Salary: £31,015 - £33,672 plus a sleeping-in payment of £43.12 and mileage reimbursed at 55p per mile. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.

Shift Pattern: Strut House is open all year, including some bank holidays and at times Christmas and New year. The shift pattern covers 24 hours a day so is a combination of early shifts, late shifts and night duties. There is also a need for sleep ins at the home which are paid in addition to your annual salary. The rota is carefully planned to try and ensure a good work/personal life balance. Our Home Strut House is a short break provision for children with disabilities located in Lincoln.

We support children diagnosed with a wide range of disabilities to access independent experiences away from home in a safe, nurturing and child focused environment. Our children's needs are as individual as they are, the care we provide reflects this. We support with all aspects of personal care, health care and behaviour support in line with very specific and detailed care plans and risk assessments.

Empowering children to have their voice heard and valued is central to how we deliver care and advocate for our children working as part of a multi-agency service provision., No prior professional care experience is required for this position, as we offer comprehensive training, qualities we seek include:.
