We are currently seeking safe and reliable full and part-time drivers. Owner operators and semi-retired drivers are also welcome to apply. *RECOMMENDED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:* Minimum experience includes being a graduate of a certified professional truck driver training school and a graduate of the Lansberry Trucking Driver Finishing Program. Ideally, you would possess two verifiable years or greater of experience as a truck driver driving tri-axles or tractor-trailers (e.g.

pneumatic tank, end-dump, dry van or flatbed equipment). *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Deliver products while operating a tractor-trailer or triaxle truck over intercity or interstate routes or routes spanning multiple states; · Drive long distances and be on-duty for periods up-to the permissible FMCSA Hours of Service regulations; · Accept orders for pick-ups and deliveries using cell phones or computerized dispatching equipment; · Load and unload cargo using specific, assigned equipment (e.g.

triaxle, dump trailer, pneumatic tank, etc.); · Plan routes using maps or utilize computerized GPS routing software; · Deliver products to customer on-time and safely; · Take rest periods as required by FMCSA Rules and Regulations; · Fill the truck up with fuel, clean truck and wash windows, as necessary; · Perform pre- and/or post-trip inspections of the equipment per FMCSA Rules and Regulations and record any defects they find; · Report any serious safety or mechanical problems with the equipment to the maintenance department immediately; · Maintain assigned equipment is clean and good working order; · Report to dispatcher any incidents encountered on the route that may interfere with the timely delivery of the product; · Monitor weather conditions and traffic congestion and report to dispatcher any issues that may interfere with the timely delivery of the product; · Follow accident procedures should an accident occur; · Depending on FMCSA requirements, keep an electronic or paper log of their daily activities; *REQUIREMENTS:* · CDL-A license required; · High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required; · Two years verifiable over-the-road truck driving experience or a Graduate of a certified professional truck driving school is required; · General knowledge of FMCSA Rules and Regulations; · General knowledge of all other federal, state, local and customer rules and regulations; · Must be able to successfully pass a USDOT mandated pre-employment drug screen; · Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check; · Must be able to successfully pass a physical abilities test; · General knowledge of electronic logging and computerized dispatch/messaging devices; · Good communication skills as well as the ability to exercise good judgment; · Patience and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment with hazards and frequent distractions; · Motivated, self-starter and team player; · Maintain a strong desire to be a safe and productive member of the Lansberry Trucking, Inc.
