Portrait of the School/Institution Welcome to Wangen School! Wangen School includes the municipalities of Walliswil bei Niederbipp, Walliswil bei Wangen, the district of Wangenried, and the Wangen an der Aare school complex in Oberaargau. It encompasses all educational offerings of the Bern canton primary school, from the two-year kindergarten to school leaving at the end of 9th grade. In all three cycles, learners are integratively supported through special education care.

Around 400 children and young people as well as 60 teachers have access to progressive infrastructure. Joint planning and development of teaching at all levels are the focus of our modern school. Class Teacher 1st/2nd Grade (18 - 21 Lessons), 3 Lessons IF Possible in Own Class and Half Class Teacher Position Wangen an der Aare School (Wangenried location) 3380 Wangen an der Aare Tasks - Class teacher of a 1st/2nd mixed-age class with 15 pupils - Teaching regular class lessons according to the existing timetable - Collaboration in the team, in the cycle group, in the entire staff and at school events - IF teaching possible in own class Requests regarding workload can be considered after consultation.

Requirements You have a qualification as a primary school teacher, are in training for it, or intend to undertake it. Ideally, you bring initial teaching experience or have another pedagogical background. You are interested in the life world of your learners, show willingness to collaborate in a team, and are open to active participation in school development. We Offer Fixed-term employment with 18 - 21 lessons of teaching, plus function as class teacher in part-time employment until autumn 2027.
