What will you be responsible for? As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in maintaining exceptional standards across the facility. Your day to day will include: -Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces, ensuring all areas are spotless -Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, and refilling soap dispensers and paper towels -Dusting surfaces and high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and banisters to maintain hygiene standards -Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste across all designated areas -Cleaning kitchen areas and outdoor spaces, including entrances and pathways, keeping them tidy and welcoming You have strong attention to detail and take pride in noticing and addressing areas needing cleaning or maintenance -You can organise tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes and work proactively -You're able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate well with supervisors -You're physically capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods -You're committed to following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone Making Kier a diverse and inclusive place to work is a huge priority for us.
