Job Title: Cleaning Location: Crawley Contract: Permanent - Part Time 20 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 4-hour shift Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour About the Role We are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-focused Cleaner to join our team based at the Thermo-Fisher Scientific site in Crawley. You will be responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of cleaning across designated areas of the site.
The role will involve a variety of cleaning, laundry and waste duties, working to agreed schedules and following all site, company, health and safety and hygiene procedures. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, reliability and a positive approach to customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled cleaning, laundry and waste duties to a high standard Maintain clean, safe and hygienic areas across the site Use cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely, following COSHH requirements Follow all site procedures, including health and safety, security and hygiene standards Report equipment faults, building defects and safety hazards promptly Work independently and as part of the wider team to deliver excellent service What We're Looking For Reliable, trustworthy and proactive with excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team A positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on customer service Good communication and organisational skills Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable Knowledge of COSHH, PPE and safe cleaning practices would be beneficial Experience using cleaning machinery or carrying out specialist/GMP cleaning is an advantage, but not essential What We Offer Working with Sodexo is more than a job it's a chance to be part of something greater.
