Clinical Deputy Manager - Biggleswade Situated in the residential area of Kings Reach in the market town of Biggleswade, our private, luxury care home offers several types of care for up to 65 residents. The home is now under new management, bringing fresh leadership, renewed energy and a clear vision for the future. We are building on the strengths of the home while creating a positive, supportive and ambitious culture where residents and colleagues genuinely come first.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our leadership team as Clinical Deputy Manager and play a key role in shaping this exciting next chapter. What we offer 62,000 per annum 40 hours per week Paid NMC PIN fees Paid DBS Pension scheme Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) Ongoing clinical and leadership development Clear progression opportunities towards Home Manager Support from an experienced Home Manager, Regional Team and Senior Leadership Team The opportunity to help shape the culture and success of a home under new management Your role As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to provide strong clinical and operational leadership across the home.

You will be a visible and approachable leader, supporting our nursing and care teams to deliver safe, compassionate and consistently high-quality care. You will have a key role in creating a culture where colleagues feel supported, residents feel valued and everyone is encouraged to achieve their best. Your responsibilities will include: Leading clinical governance and maintaining consistently high standards of care Overseeing care planning, medication management, clinical risk and safeguarding Completing audits and using findings to drive meaningful improvements Supporting regulatory compliance and preparing for inspections Coaching, mentoring and developing nurses and care colleagues Working alongside the Home Manager to monitor and improve home performance Supporting the recruitment, induction and development of clinical teams Acting as the senior leader in the Home Manager's absence Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues Leading by example and helping to establish a positive, accountable and supportive team culture About you We are looking for a confident and compassionate Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

You will ideally have: Current RGN or RMN registration with a valid NMC PIN Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care home or similar setting Previous leadership or senior nursing experience Experience with clinical governance, audits and compliance A passion for developing and supporting others Excellent communication and decision-making skills A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care Most importantly, you will be someone who leads with compassion, integrity and positivity, and who wants to be part of building something great.
