This includes all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties required for the proper functioning of the department.
Shared responsibility with the others for providing 24 hour, 7 day a week cover for the obstetrics & gynaecology on an on-call rota basis. Responsible also for covering colleagues' periods of annual leave and short-term sickness/absence. To contribute to departmental audit programme in accordance with the Trusts R&D framework. To be aware of, and comply with, all Trust infection prevention and control policies, to include hand hygiene, personal hygiene, environmental and food hygiene.
To undertake annual training/updates in infection prevention and control.
