Role: You want to not only operate modern IT infrastructures but actively further develop them? In this role, you combine cloud, virtualisation, Microsoft technologies, and enterprise infrastructure and take responsibility for demanding customer environments.
Responsibilities: Design, build, and further develop modern IT infrastructures Engineering and operation of hybrid cloud and on-premises environments Planning and optimisation of server, storage, virtualisation, and client platforms Implementation of technical solutions from architecture to productive operation Development of scalable infrastructure concepts for different customer environments Further development of managed services and automated operational processes Analysis and resolution of complex technical faults at 3rd-level support Support of demanding infrastructure and transformation projects Creation of modern architecture concepts, operational documentation, and technical standards Consulting customers on technological decisions and modernising their IT landscape Collaboration with cloud, security, network, and project teams Taking on on-call duties for business-critical platforms as needed Qualifications: Completed training in computer science or comparable technical qualification Further education at HF, FH, or university level is an advantage Several years of experience in engineering or operating complex IT infrastructures Solid knowledge in several of the following areas: Microsoft Windows Server VMware vSphere or Hyper-V Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 Client engineering Storage and backup Experience with hybrid IT architectures and modern cloud concepts Practical experience in complex infrastructure projects and technical migrations Ideally knowledge of PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, or automation Vendor certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, or comparable qualifications are an advantage Analytical and solution-oriented working style High personal responsibility and strong customer orientation Enjoyment in actively driving technological developments forward Benefits: Interesting and varied tasks/projects Flexible working hours Attractive training and development opportunities Comfortable office with modern infrastructure Experienced and dynamic team ROCKEN Jobs: https://rocken.jobs Create profile: https://rocken.jobs/application/profil-erstellen/ Work location Zurich Contact Joshua de Boers, +4144385
