Where: Birmingham (This is a fully on-site position. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are not available for this role.) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. Responsibilities: Responsibilities As a Cluster Lead Nurse, you will provide visible clinical leadership across substance misuse services, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused nursing care.
You will lead the nursing workforce while working closely with operational managers and the multidisciplinary team to continuously improve clinical quality and patient outcomes. Your role includes: Lead and develop a team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants. Provide professional nursing leadership across the cluster. Deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical interventions for people experiencing drug and alcohol problems.
Ensure compliance with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements and organisational policies. Support medicines management, prescribing governance and clinical risk management. Lead safeguarding practice for adults and children. Monitor clinical performance, audits and quality improvement initiatives. Coach, supervise and develop nursing staff through appraisal, supervision and training. Work collaboratively with Service Managers, Consultant Psychiatrists, Doctors, Non-Medical Prescribers (NMPs) and Recovery Teams.
Promote integrated working with primary care, hospitals, mental health services and partner agencies.
