The successful candidates will operate CNC laser cutting machines, interpret technical blueprints, prepare and monitor machine operations, and ensure that metal components are accurately cut according to required specifications and quality standards.
CNC LASER CUTTER OPERATOR Qualifications: At least 3 years of work experience as a CNC Laser Cutter. Previous work experience in the metal industry is required. Familiarity with Amada, Prima Power, Bodor, Trumpf, or similar CNC laser cutting machines. Experience in operating CNC machinery and other industrial machine equipment. Good ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. At least High School graduate.
Able to communicate effectively in English. Good understanding of CNC laser cutting operations, machine setup, material handling, and production processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and consistent work. Ability to perform basic machine adjustments and identify common operating issues. Good physical health and ability to perform physically demanding industrial work when required.
Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a production team. Ability to follow technical instructions, workplace procedures, and safety regulations. Responsibilities: Operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently for metal fabrication and production. Set up and prepare CNC laser cutting machines according to production requirements. Operate Amada, Prima Power, Bodor, Trumpf, or similar laser cutting machines.
Load and position metal sheets or other materials correctly on the machine. Input, verify, and adjust machine programs and cutting parameters as required. Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and production specifications. Check dimensions, measurements, cutting patterns, and material requirements before production. Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality cuts.
Inspect finished metal components for dimensional accuracy, defects, and compliance with specifications. Make appropriate machine adjustments to maintain cutting quality and production efficiency. Perform basic troubleshooting of machine and cutting-process issues. Replace or assist with replacement of consumables and machine components when required. Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance according to established procedures.
Ensure materials are properly identified, handled, and positioned during production. Safely remove, sort, and organize finished metal parts and production waste. Maintain accurate production records and report machine or quality issues to supervisors. Follow workplace safety procedures and proper operating instructions at all times. Keep the machine, tools, and work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Coordinate with production staff, technicians, and supervisors to meet production schedules. Minimize material waste through accurate machine operation and proper material utilization. Follow
