Job Description The Coating Supervisor will be based at Global Riser's Yard in GYSBI Annex A and will be responsible for the hands-on supervision and execution of Blasting and Painting operations at the facility. The Coating Supervisor will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge and experience in Blasting and Painting, specifically of Marine Equipment, utilizing Epoxy and Polyurethane coating systems.

The candidate must have the ability to train technicians on the correct and safe working practices, troubleshoot and setup equipment, as well as carry out quality inspections. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to set up and commission blasting and painting equipment (Blast Pots, Hoses, Airless and Conventional Spray Systems), physically perform blasting and painting operations to train personnel, as well as assess, supervise, and monitor coating application.

The candidate should have a hands-on approach, as well as demonstrate a strong technical understanding with attention to detail & quality. Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to: Set up and commission blasting and painting equipment. Review QualityControl Plan, Work Instructions, and Procedures, and carry out work in accordance. Carry out in field training of blasters and coating applicators.

Carry out competency assessments of coating applicators and blasters. Supervise blasting and painting activities during production work. Carry out quality inspections of substrate prior to coating. Carry out quality inspections of finished products. Ensure that teammates are working safely,report unsafe behaviour to Supervisor / Project Manager/ Operations Manager. Carry out infield troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment Experience and Skills: 5+ Years Industrial Blasting & Coating experience 2+ Years in a Supervisory/Lead Role Experience with Quality Control including DFT, surface profile, soluble salts, dust, dew point and environmental monitoring Experience with marine/offshore corrosion protection Demonstrated experience training, assessing, and leading a team Good written and verbal communication skills Computer Skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint) Qualifications: AMPP CIP Level 2 or equivalent
